How does Lake Tech Care compare to regular service calls?
Service calls are usually charged at a $300 minimum for 2 hours (about $150/hour, plus any extras). Service Calls work great for one off jobs, but they add up quick with the unpredictability of Priest Lake—especially with the weather and power loss issues we often face.

Our Standard Rates:
Service Call Minimum: $300 (covers the first 2 hours of work).
Hourly Rate Contracted / Sub (after minimum): $150/hour (billed in 15–30 minute increments depending on the job).
Travel Charge: Baked into the $300 minimum for most Priest Lake properties (no separate fee for typical distances from Coolin). For homes over 45–60 minutes one-way (e.g., remote northern/upper lake spots, difficult access), a modest mileage reimbursement may apply (e.g., $0.75–$1 per mile round-trip beyond 30 miles, quoted upfront).
After-Hours / Emergency (evenings, weekends, urgent needs): Standard $300 minimum applies, with potential +$50–$100 premium depending on timing and distance (noted in advance).
Other Contingencies:
Parts/hardware (e.g., cables, cameras, Starlink accessories): Billed at cost + markup.
Diagnostic fee: Included in the $300 minimum (no separate charge if we proceed with repair).
Cancellation/No-Show: $150 fee if canceled less than 2 hours before scheduled arrival.
Remote support (if possible): Lower minimum ($150 hour, 30-minute minimum) to avoid travel.
