Internet and Starlink for Priest Lake cabins
If you need reliable internet at a Priest Lake cabin, the right answer is usually Starlink, a local ISP where it’s available, or both — plus a UniFi network that reaches the dock and the bunkhouse.
Priest Lake Tech is the Coolin team that installs Starlink on both shores, then builds UniFi Wi‑Fi and wired networking so the whole property stays online.
Starlink vs local ISP at the lake
Starlink Works when trees and terrain kill cable or DSL. Good for cabins with a clear sky view. We mount, aim, weatherproof, and hand the connection into your network.
Local ISP Use it when service already reaches the property and the speed is enough. We can keep that as primary and add Starlink as backup, or the other way around.
Frontier / national carriers Fine when the drop is solid. If the line is weak or the install window is months out, Starlink usually gets you online faster.
When DIY is enough A kit on a tripod for a short stay can be fine. Call us when you want a permanent mount, outdoor coverage, cameras on the same backbone, or remote management while you’re away.

Who this is not for Sandpoint luxury AV-only jobs. Mesh-kit-only installs with no real backbone or outdoor coverage plan.
